RANDOLPH — Community Preservation Committee funds Trinity Church restoration with $75,000. Community Preservation Committee Chairman Ronald Lum proposed the $75,000 allocation from the Historic Account for the historic preservation project, which the committee approved 5-0, contingent on acceptance of a deed restriction by the church and the Archdiocese, which holds the property in trust. Trinity Episcopal Church originally requested $200,000; the church received a $100,000 donation and obtained a repair bid of $155,000.

Pastor Philip Kuhn indicated the Archdiocese application review may extend into July, and the church's Vestry will vote on the deed restriction.
