RANDOLPH — The Historical Commission coordinated an October 25 research visit to the Cynthia Haack Collection at Stetson Hall for researchers Natalie and Jordan Christianson to examine a 12-volume genealogy history. Trustee Marie Morisset was assigned to oversee the visit while Chairman Henry Cooke, IV was traveling. The commission reported approximately $2,000 in remaining Veterans Heritage grant funds for Oakland Cemetery gravestone restoration and committed to contacting Gravestone Services of New England about continuing the work.
The board addressed a member vacancy, directing the chairman to notify the Town Manager and potentially contact Tiffany Brown-Grier of 75 Union Street as a candidate. Jim Burgess proposed planting an American Elm tree behind the Randolph Free Library on Veterans Day.
