RANDOLPH — Conservation Commission approves January minutes and directs consultant revision of hiring rules. Acting Chair Carl Brown oversaw the hybrid meeting, at which Consultant Jim Pasman reported consolidating member feedback on a draft plan document set for revision within two weeks. The Commission identified four long-term planning topics--DEP environmental testing, PFAS monitoring, Stormwater Management Program responsibilities, and public education--and tasked Conservation Administrator Joseph P.
Dunn with arranging informational presentations from town departments and consultants at future meetings. Members Keith Asack and Chris Kimball flagged concerns that proposed consultant-hiring rules combined paid and volunteer positions under identical requirements; the Commission directed Pasman to distinguish between the two categories before resubmission.
