Conservation Commission approves consultant rules for attorney review

RANDOLPH — The Randolph Conservation Commission approved revised consultant rules and sent them to the Town Attorney and Town Manager for further review. Acting Chair Carl Brown and members Keith Asack, Fran Blanchard, and Joseph Dunn discussed distinguishing volunteer from paid consultants, aligning compensation with the conservation agent role, and clarifying work-product ownership. Volunteer Consultant Jim Pasman presented proposed tracking tools--a Drive calendar and spreadsheet--to monitor ongoing projects and budget planning; the commission endorsed the concept pending final refinement.
